Overview
Meng App is an application that helps you track your cat’s health condition. Meng App can assist cat owners to maintain their cat's health condition by enabling them to log their cat's activity, remind them to check their cat's health daily, and take them to the vet.

"Why" Mapping
"Why" mapping was used to visualize our quick research. The result shows that a good pet owner will maintain their pet's health, which indirectly affects the whole family's health and hygiene. To maintain a pet's health, good knowledge about pets' sickness symptoms can help the pet owner to recognize their pet's health.

General Synthesis
"Pet is a domesticated or tamed animal that is kept as a companion and cared for affectionately by its owners. A good owner can provide food, shelter, healthcare, environment, and love for their pets. Putting heavy emphasis on the healthcare part, where owners have to pay attention to the well-being of their pets. By knowing the symptoms of their pet when something happened, it could make a whole lot of difference in ensuring your pet's well-being.
Based on our research, the pet industry experienced positive growth because of the pandemic. More and more people are raising pets, and the demand keeps rising.
This rising of pet owners causes multiple problems. For example, first-time owners oftentimes lack knowledge of their pet's sickness, and it can be a fatal issue where the pets ended up dying"

Question Categorization and Prioritization
The team generates guiding questions using sticky notes, then categories for those questions in each table. Categorizing was meant to manage better and visualize the bunch of questions so it's easier to read.
After categorizing, we create priority levels. Prioritizing helped us to manage our attention and time during the research process.

Our assistive pet health app help pet owners who want to be aware of their pet's health by reducing owner's forgetfulness of their pet's condition and achieving healthy pets.
Competitive Analysis Matrix
The Competitive Analysis Matrix is done by looking up the solution keywords and ranking on App Store, App Annie/App Radar, or Search Engine with my team. We tried to gather customer feedback or review of the competitor’s service and, if available, check their social media presence. We tried to get some references from the directory listing based on this information gathering. Then we made a summary of the listing that we could apply to our application solution.

User Story
Customer Journey Map
This Customer Journey Map helps the team to visualize what the user might experience while doing their task. The cat owner needs to be able to memorize their cat's health and health needs, and also need help managing their time so they can spare some of their time for their pet cat. From this map, we can see that most cat owners feel frustrated, anxious, and worried when their cat is sick, and during their trip to the vet. Those negative feelings would increase when the cat owners don't have a lot of time for their pet cat if their cat got sick suddenly.

"Cat owners tend to neglect their cat's health to be kept on track. These cat owners are forgetful or busy with their activities. Based on our interview result, this is caused by a not well-documented and unspecified schedule. Based on our findings, people can remember better if they write down important things when they listen to something to distinguish crucial and trivia information. With reminders, cat owners can log into the app to keep track of their cat's health daily. They are also able to create a schedule such as vet visits, medicine reminder, and other activities with their cat that requires reminder."

This is a solution to the challenge because based on our findings, most cat owners forgot or are unable to pay attention to their cat's health condition because they have busy schedules or are simply less mindful of these things.
